Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for our clients. You'll work across multiple projects, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes clusters, and driving infrastructure automation at scale.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and shape the DevOps culture for organisations ranging from fast-moving startups to established enterprises.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Build and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS)
• Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Implement security best practices and compliance automation (DevSecOps)
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows and reliability
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and pipeline design
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Strong Linux systems administration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• AWS/GCP/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.)
• Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Experience with policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno)
• Contributions to open-source projects
